Lowman Elk Attacked

Below is a photo of a helicopter that harrassed the elk on my private property. They flew around, hovering over my and Ballard's house and then went NW and chased some elk back towards us and finally apparently shot one or more with a tranquilizer gun. They set down on my mining property and two dudes in orange outfits hiked down to the elk and did whatever "Elk Attackers" do in the winter months for enjoyment.

I saw four elk being chased and one took a nasty tumble before they shot the others. If one didn't break a leg it would surprise me. I can't imagine what could possibly justify this expensive entertainment for bureaucrats. It appears to have been the Federal Fish and Game folks as there was nothing but expensive equipment.

I think they might be trying to build a case for the environmentalists showing that the elk population is tainted by disease and no wolf has ever attacked an elk. I think we have a case of the fox guarding the chickens. These dudes have no intention of doing anything that helps the case for the Idaho Wolf hunting season. They are trying everything to subvert those efforts and secretly support the environmentalists in their lawsuit against the State of Idaho wolf hunts.

The two attackers then walked out to the south across Bob Ahern's private property and I talked with him and he provided no permission for such a trespass.

Bob Friedman saw them walking out but made no approach as I would have done. These folks are not a friend of the Lowman Cause. They should be resisted and defunded.

Woof Tracks

Somebody reported wolves howling near the mouth of Eightmile Creek, so I hiked around on webs to Dustman Creek and sure enough about 3-4 wolves came down off Branson Mtn north of my place and headed down to that area near the Lowman Church. I didn't see tracks where they came back, but they could have come back fairly far west of my place.

I am looking forward to having a meeting with them and explain the rules of conduct up here.
